Two-storey building collapsed at Okilton Drive, Ada George Road in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State in the early hours of Thursday June 29.
Three persons were rescued from the rubble of the collapsed structure which was under construction.
The three persons were said to be receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in the State capital.
The cause of the collapse of the building has not been ascertained and it was not certain at the time of filing this report whether there were persons still trapped in the rubble.
Although Rivers State government has not issued an official statement on the incident, officials of the government have visited the area and sealed the construction site.
