President of Oodua Peoples Congress Reformed, Dare Adesope, has expressed readiness to work with other security operatives to save southwest communities from external terrorists.
Adesope said those who attacked worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, committed a callous and wicked crime against humanity.
oPC President expressed regret that the barbaric action against innocent people in broad day light and in such a brazen manner was without any basis.
He urged the government to unmask those behind the killing.
According to him, it is high time Southern governors empowered local security operatives, like members of OPC(R), to face terrorists threatening the region’s peace.
The OPC (R) President urged all the Southern governors to take security issue serious.
Adesope called for a formidable strategy to be put in place in the Southwest so that the region’s security personnel could protect the residents in all situations.
