The people of Kebbi State have been enjoined to give security personnel all the necessary support and cooperation to succeed in fighting crimes and criminalities.
The Director of Security at the Cabinet Office, Alhaji AbdulRahman Usman, made the call, a statement by Alhaji Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday contained.
According to Usman, soldiers have neutralised Mai-Nasara, a wanted Kebbi notorious bandit with five members of his gang arrested at Sangeko forest in the Southern part of the State.
While applauding the gallant efforts of the security personnel in fighting crimes and criminalities in the state, especially in the southern part of Kebbi, Usman said, “Your support and cooperation is highly necessary for the security agencies to achieve the desired goal of flushing out criminals and restore peace and normalcy in our land.
“Security is supposed to be everybody’s business; therefore, people should endeavour to assist the security agencies in all ramifications, especially with credible intelligence towards successful combats”.
