Police operatives in Anambra have arrested two suspects, in connection with cultism. The suspects; Victor Ikechukwu (30years) and Ifeanyi Uyanne (35years) were arrested following a shooting incident on Wednesday, at Tempsite Okpuno, Awka, Anambra State.
The Police also recovered one glass tinted Toyota Corolla Vehicle and one military uniform.
Anambra Police spokesman DSP Ikenga Tochukwu in a statement on Thursday said however, that two yet unidentified young men who sustained gun-shot wounds were found at the crime scene. They were rushed to a nearby hospital but were confirmed dead by a doctor on ground.
The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Monday Bala Kuryas has therefore called on parents/guardians to watch over their children and wards and prevent them from engaging in cultism and associated vices.
