At about office closing hours on Tuesday, heavily armed men of the underworld stormed the Issele Uku Branch of the United Bank for Africa(UBA) for almost two hours with different kinds of weapons including dynamites as they totally left the Bank devastated.
An eye witness who spoke to SECURITY REPORTERS said that the men arrived the Bank in about three vehicles as they alighted and opened fire in a commando style leaving the whole town jittery.
Our Correspondent who arrived the scene immediately the robbers left gathered that about three persons were allegedly feared shot dead.
At press time the Divional Police Officer (DPO) of the Area could not be reached as the Divisional Headquarters was also barricaded for security reasons.
It would be recalled that this incident was the third time the UBA branch at Issele Uku would be robbed.
