In order to reduce the plight of Officers and Men after retirement, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC) Anambra State Command on Thursday organized pension interactive forum for personnel serving in the State.
Welcoming participants , the State Commandant of NSCDC, Vincent Ogu informed officers and men that the welfare of a staff is a top priority of Dr Abubakar Audi, the Commandant General of NSCDC.
Mr. Ogu said the forum was put up to enable Officers and Men and Pension Fund Administrators (PFA) to engage on issues and challenges in the pension industry. He appreciated PENCOM and the various Pension Fund Administrators for making right decisions on the modality for settling them after retirement.
According to him, the interactive session will prepare personnel actively towards post retirement service and for them to interact with the various PFAs and for them to know what is expected of them before the due time.
Representatives of LEADWAY Pension, ARM Pension, FIDELITY Pension, LEADWAY ASSURANCE and SIGMA Pension present at the session assured the personnel of improved services and prompt payment of personnel retirement benefits and entitlements as at when due .
Highlights of the interactive session were questions and answers by personnel of the Corps .
