The police in Delta State have arrested four suspected kidnappers while their victim, Mr. William Aduwoma was rescued unhurt.
A Team of Police personnel in the Divisional Headquarters in Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government of Delta State led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Ogedengbe Areguamen swiftly moved into the bush at Aradhe in his in Isoko North Local Government where the victim was rescued.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe said the suspected kidnappers who were aware that Police were closing in on them fled leaving their victim behind.
“The Commissioner of Police had ordered that the suspects must be arrested so that they can be made to face the law”. Said Edafe.
The Statement went further to say that the four suspects were arrested by the efforts and swift intelligence gathering by the police.
The four suspects who were arrested on 2nd April 2021 were: Nwachukwu (24yrs); Oletu Augustine Augustine (35yrs) Obi Francis (25yrs) all of Aradhe Community.
The other was Udumubra Okena. They were in their hideouts in Aradhe and Iyeriri Quarters Ozoro.
The Statement further said that they have all confessed to being members of the gang that kidnapped the said victim William Aduwona.
Items recovered from the suspects were an Infinix phone, car key belonging to the victim, daggers and charms were also recovered from them.
