Party urges Nigerian government to strengthen, motivate security men and provide security for residents

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has urged the Federal Government to ensure that security men are strengthened and better motivated this festive season.

The party through its Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Emmanuel Olorunmagba, also charged the government beef up security across the country ahead of the yuletide.

Olorunmagba said, “The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) calls on the Federal Government of Nigeria to beef up security the more as the year is rounding off even as the security challenges in the country is escalating again in different parts of Nigeria.

“Part of the ideology of this party is nation-building towards the emergence of a new Nigeria that we all can sleep with our eyes closed, knowing that with the protection of God Almighty and our security forces up to the task, any eventuality can be effectively handled.

“Every family in Nigeria is affected one way or the other, thus, all stakeholders either in government or opposition need to ensure all hands are on deck in whatever way we all can contribute towards a new Nigeria that we all can be proud of,’’ he added.
