The Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, has commended  President Muhammed Buhari for infrastructural  development of the country and his fight against corruption.

Describing the President, Oba Akanbi said “Buhari  remains the  most honest leader in the history of Nigeria who has no blanket for corruption. Buhari is not a rogue. I never knew I would grow up to see first class train services and reconstruction of Lagos-Ibadan express way. Buhari is not a rogue. I will never forget Buhari” Oluwo remarked.

The Iwo monarch blamed past systems for infrastructural decay emphasising that no past government has the credit of Buhari in infrastructural growth and development.

He pointed out that the economic and security challenges in the country were fallouts from previous administration, urging Nigerians to appreciate the strength of President Muhammed Buhari in fighting corruption and embarking on  infrastructural growth.

A statement by the monarch through his press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, reads “For the first time since independence, I am seeing a government whose hallmark is the reconstruction of Lagos-Ibadan express way and promoting first class train transportation through railway. For the first time in the past 20 years, you can drive from Lagos to Ibadan without traffic jam less than an hour. Only an honest man can handle such successfully without being victimized by power blocs benefitting from the rot.”

“One of the measurements of a credible leader is honesty. I see the quality in the number one citizen of Nigeria, President Muhammed Buhari. He is not a rogue. He is one of  the most incorruptible leaders in the history of Nigeria. Buhari, I will never forget you.”

“The dilapidated status of Lagos-Ibadan express way killed my father. Bad governance has turned many to an accidental orphans. I was a victim. Seeing a government fixing such road is my joy and I will forever be grateful to the supervisor of such administration”

“I want to urge Nigerians to acknowledge the strength of our leaders while discussing their weakness. There might be economic and security challenges pile up by past system but the improvement must be highlighted and appreciated”
