The Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists group has on Wednesday, attacked the hometown of Abddullahi Musa Askira, Deputy Speaker of Borno State House of Assembly.
An intelligence officer revealed that the terrorists first disguised themselves as visitors before they started shooting sporadically in Chan Chan Dana community where Askira Uba hail from.
“After realising that soldiers were not within the vicinity, they started shooting in the air, destroying structures.
The shootings caused pandemonium as the inhabitants of the town scampered for safety.
