INEC PUBLISHES NAMES OF  PRESIDENTIAL, NATIONAL ASSEMBLY CANDIDATES; CALLS FOR CLAIMS, OBJECTIONS

The Independent National Electoral Commission  (INEC) has on Friday, published affidavit forms in support of personal particulars (Form EC9) of presidential and national assembly candidates at its offices across the 36 States of the country.

The details of the 2023 presidential candidates, which were also pasted in the Commission’s Federal Capital Territory office, was for the purpose of claims and objections.

Also on display were the details of national assembly candidates following an order by INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, who directed all Resident Electoral Commissioners to display the particulars.

Notable names on the list published by INEC include Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Presidential candidate of PDP, Mr. Peter Obi Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, candidate of APC and Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso who is Presidential candidate of the NNPP.
