IGP, COAS Visit Scene of Train Attack

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has visited the scene of the attack on the Kaduna bound train at Rijana Area of Kaduna State, which occurred on Monday the 28th March, 2022, at about 8.30pm.

The IGP, in company of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Faruk Yahaya; GOC 1 Div of the Nigerian Army; Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Kaduna State Command, and other senior officers, arrived at the scene at about 1201hrs on Tuesday for on-the-spot assessment. The visit and assessment of the scene will avail the security agencies with relevant first-hand information on the incident necessary for rejigging operational strategy to come up with a robust action plan for the prevention of a reoccurrence
