How Armed Men Abduct Hotel Owner, Six Guests

It was like a well scripted movie scene when armed men stormed the premises of Hilltop Hotel lodge located in Tunga Make village, near Zuba in Abuja. 

 

They had shot sporadically into the air as they arrived the scene causing security guards to scamper for safety as they had come to kidnap owner of the hotel and guests.

 

The aftermath of the attack left residents of  the area shaken as  Hon. Friday Sani Makama, Prince Frederick Adejoh and others yet to be identified were kidnapped from their Hilltop Hotel lodge located in the Area.

 

Honourable Makama was a former lawmaker in the Kogi State House of Assembly who recently defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) while Prince Adejoh is the Oma Onu Aya of Igala land.

 

Tunga Maje and the notorious Kaduna-Abuja highway have been den for kidnappers and hoodlums.

 

The FCT Police spokesperson, ASP Mariam Yusuf who confirmed the incident noted that the command has launched manhunt on the abductors.

 

According to her, “The command has launched a strategic operation to rescue the victims unhurt.”
