The regime of evil men seems to gather increased momentum each passing day in Nigeria as unknown gunmen have killed a retired Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) Police, Christopher Dega, in Jos, Plateau State Capital.
This came barely four days after former Presidential aide Ahmed Gulak was killed in Owerri,Imo State.
Dega, who was also the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom, on Security, was brutally murdered on Tuesday.
SECURITY REPORTERS.com gathered that he was shot in the chest several times by the fleeing bandits.
The late AIG was former Commissioner of Police in Borno and Edo States at different times.
The Plateau State Police Command in a statement said the Senior Special Assistant was trailed and killed by his assailants.
The statement issued on Wednesday by the Plateau State’s Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), ASP Ubah Gabriel Obaba, added that the command had arrested some suspects in connection with the crime.
