Gunmen deadly attack on police station in Iganna, Oyo State, 2 feared dead

Tuesday night deadly attack on the police station in Iganna, a town in the Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State, has left the   community devastated.

A source in the area revealed that the attack, was carried out by some hoodlums.

He said, ”Two persons were killed including a police officer but you know it’s only a doctor that can confirm if someone is dead or not.

“The crisis is within the people in the town and not herdsmen attack.”

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Adewale Osifeso, when contacted said, “Investigation has commenced into the matter. Updates would be provided accordingly.”
