The Federal Government has so far saved about N10 trillion through the implementation of the Single Treasury Account (TSA).
The Director General (DG), Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr Dasuki Arabi, made this disclosure while featuring at the 43rd Session of the ministerial media briefing organised by the Presidential Media Team at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Arabi said that the introduction of the Integration Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) also led to the reduction of the federal civil service personnel to 720,000, saying about 70,000 ghost workers were eliminated from the payroll.
He added that the federal government equally reduced the budget deficits and changed the budget composition.
