Emir of Bungudu still with abductors — Family

The Emir of Bungudu in Zamfara State, Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, is till with his captors thirty days after being abducted.

The monarch was abducted by bandits along the Kaduna — Abuja expressway alongside other travellers on September 14, 2021.

Ever since then, the traditional ruler had been with his abductors while efforts are being made for his release. 

A family member, Alhaji Ibrahim Marafa who cleared the air over the monarch’s purported release by bandits, insisted that there was no truth in the report that the royal father was released. 

He warned against spreading false information about the monarch who had spent over a month with kidnappers. 

Marafa, however, said efforts were in top gear for the monarch’s release.
