Three suspected Kidnappers who have been in police wanted list for various criminal offenses committed in the past have died from injuries sustained after being mobbed recently for another kidnapping attempt at Ogharra, Ethiope West Local Governmet Area of Delta State.
The acting Police Public Relations Officer, Delta Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe in a statement on Thursday said that the three suspects who were confirmed dead in Ogharra Hospital were: Onome Efetobore, Collins,(Surname unknown) an escapee from Benin Correctional Centre during Endsars and one Glory Reuben all males.
The statement further said that information got by the Police that there was mob action on three suspected kidnappers somewhere at Ogharra goaded the DPO of Ogharra Division to mobilize his men in collaboration with the Vigilante who swiftly moved to the scene and rescued the suspects.
The suspects, however, were quickly taken to General Hospital, Ogharra where they were confirmed dead by a Medical Doctor.
One locally made pistol and three cartridges were recovered from the suspects.
Meanwhile the Delta State Police Commissioner has warned that jungle justice should not be condoned by his Command as he urged the public to always report suspects
