… Shehu Sani says no one is safe

The Niger State Commissioner of Information, Alhaji Sani Idris, was on Monday at 1 a.m, kidnapped by bandits in his hometown, Baban Tunga in Tafa LGA.
The Secretary to the Government, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane confirmed the kidnap.
Matane said security operatives were already on the trail of the kidnappers.
Last week, gunmen also abducted Aminu Bobi, Zone C chairman of the APC.
Bobi was kidnapped on his farm in Mariga Local Government Area.
Reacting, a one time Kaduna State lawmaker, Shehu Sani lamented that no one is safe in the country from kidnappers.
He condemned the kidnap of the commissioner in a post on his Facebook page and described the incident as tragic.
Sani said the kidnap of a commissioner attests to the fact that no one is safe.
“The abduction of the Niger State commissioner of Information is tragic.This further attest to the fact that no one is safe.
“My prayers to him and other students of the Tegina Islamic school still in the hands of their abductors, he wrote.
“The federal and state governments must wake up and address this consuming danger.”
