Abductors allegedly kill Elder Erukaa in Benue

The abducted one-time chairman of Katsina Ala and Ukum Local Government area of Benue state, Elder Washima has been reportedly killed.

Elder Erukaa was abducted by gunmen on the 23rd September, in his Zakibiam residence.

A reliable member of the family said the kidnappers informed them that Erukaa, who is 80 years died and has been buried.

However, the police spokesperson Anene Catherine reportedly claimed she did not have an information about the development.

She said: “I don’t have any information as of now. I will let you know once I get any update.”
