The use of intelligence gathering strategy has again yielded results as operatives of Delta State Police Command recently rescued two kidnapped victims, Mr Solomon Otomierewo and his girlfriend Rukewe Urhiephroune in a bush along Koko road in a part of the State.
Our correspondent gathered that the victims were kidnapped by gun men at Ogharra, Ethiope West Local Government Area while returning home in a GLK Mercedes Car.
On getting the report, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of the Area, CSP Jimoh Hassan mobilized his men who collaborated with the anti-cultists and vigilante men after a tip-off and moved into the bush along Koko road where they took their victims to.
The suspects on siting the police fled leaving their victims behind. They were subsequently rescued unhurt.
The Delta State Police spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe said the GLK Mercedes car was later recovered at Oviore near Isiokoro in Ethiope East Local Government Area.
Meanwhile, the 6 State Police Command has called on the general public for more cooperation and information sharing that would help to flush out criminal elements in the State.
